College is going wonderful, I walk in graduation in less than a month and my last final is on the 14th of December. Great things are around the corner, however, not before the pain and suffering of finals and all nighters..
I'm taking some pretty dope classes to be honest and I wouldn't change my schedule for the world. They just require a lot of writing, reading, and most importantly thinking lol something that I don't feel is stressed enough outside of college.
I'm taking:
Industrial Archaeology
Language and Culture
Medicine and Pathologies in Modern China
Japanese Conversation and Composition
Ethnobotany
Political Systems of China
Advanced Adaptations of Primates
Pretty interesting right?!?! Such an awesome and diverse semester. I'm really grateful to be an anthropology major, what I am able to learn in school and life is limitless because anything that has to do with humans is worth understanding.
I'm mentally preparing for finals as of now, each of those classes I listed has a research project due (paper and presentation) along with all our normal reading and writing assignments each week. I have a hard last month ahead of me along with a caffeine addiction and mass amounts of extra credit haha...
Mentally preparing...

Thinking Abroad and Beyond...
Hello! I'm Kaylyn, as of now I am currently finishing up my last semester of my last year of college.
This is a big deal because I feel as though it may have taken a long time, but I've encountered and learned a lot more than I ever thought I would. Firstly, I'm an Anthropology major with a minor in Asian Studies and Japanese. I am passionate about Asiatic culture and language and want to use what I've learned through anthropological theory to help me better understand these cultures.
I walk in graduation in just a month and I can't wait π while I majorly enjoy all the classes I'm taking in school now, I'm excited for all the opprotunities that are out there for me once I'm not a full-time student. Internships, volunteering, HOBBIES!! Free time is going to be great.
I have so many future asspirations; from small goals like having a yard sale to bigger ones like going to Asia to teach English. The future is a lot brighter she you know what you want out of it, and I want adventure!!
So until next time, γγγΎγ£γπ
